In Praise of Kim Jong Un, at 29 years old

In many ways I do like Kim Jong Un as a young guy, under 30, even though I'm not so happy with the services to his people. Not happy at all about that...but he is in the tradition of his dad and grand-dad, the same tradition as the King of Saudi, the King of Jordan, the King of Bahrain and the Emirates... and he has come to power in that same exact yet difficult way for any young man.

Not one of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain or the Emirates or North Korea are democracies, nor will they ever be, but rather they are Kingdoms.

Air Emirates is doing well, so is Saudi Arabia, so is Bahrain, Dubai etc. Saudi Arabia is developing its very own Nuclear weapon and no one minds this at all.

The amazing thing about Kim Jong Un is that he is doing well without having any oil. Yep, after the US stealth nuclear bombers have gone home after their annual buzzing to make NK leader more paranoid, well, why not set off a couple of rockets and sparklers.

NK does have nuclear weapons and very competent ICBMs to deliver them anywhere they like, but ...they haven't done that, and they won't.

The only country to ever drop nuclear weapons on any human beings is the USA, (it doesn't ever matter what you say, it only matters what you do) which is why most people with any sense are scared shitless of America...but NK isn't scared at all. They know the game very well and they play it very well indeed. The better they play it, the more peace there can be in North Asia.
