Drop Bear Farmer Loses Leg in Legal Minefield. Mr August Farmer of the Farmer Farming Co of Atherton & Nunawading noted today that he was in a legal quagmire with State and Federal Authorities in regard to his domestication and 'cropping' of Drop Bears in Northern Australia. He noted that domestication, and Live Export, of the Drop Bear is the best way to prevent extinction. He noted: "The Northern & Savannah Drop Bear is an Iconic Australian Creature, and Product, and we Need to Save It...and Sell It." As is well known, Drop Bear by-products, especially the Bile and Scrotum are used extensively in Portuguese and North American Health Food Supplements, although, in those markets, the substance is best known as 'glucosamine'.
