Life's Mysteries Bringing in my washing from the line, I noticed for the first time, that all my clothes: shirts pants socks underwear - were black. I wondered just how and why and, indeed when, life had turned me into a Ninja. There was little time to wonder as the sound of a star-knife swished past my head, and a thud as it embedded itself in the wooden fence behind me. I crouched low, muttered "Ha!" under my breath, and then I leapt up, of a sudden, high up into the tree, unsheathed a katana, and twitched a bit, yet in pure silence, my eyes darting about, looking for Tombei, The Mist. I was immediately the Samurai, Shintaro, in Melton South, and life was dangerous. I would now have to bathe naked in hot public baths, and then gird my loins in a roll of white cotton cloth that bunched up a bit too much. "Ha!"

I've just been online discussing issues with an APHRA robot about re-registering as a registered nurse for the coming year, in Australia. They don't have human people there any more. I've understood a lot of quite bizarre people over a 40 year career, but not this quirky robot turd. I just want to give him my money. "Hello, I'm me, here are my details, here is my money." Nope. Can't do that. Who the F are these cretins? No, no way, I'm not going to learn a 4 page instruction list with quite a few words and expressions I would need to research, about how to give them my money. The money is here, waiting to be given. Understand? Having worked in the realm of end of life pain amelioration, and then in psychopathy, for many decades now, let's just put some pressure on. Make it easy for me, baby. This is my last year at the coal face of it all. Do something for me.

Dear John Fitzpatrick,

I am sorry that you are experiencing issues logging into your Ahpra PortalRenewal applications for Nurses and Midwives are now online only. Like many Australian organisations, our processes have transitioned in recent years to online services.

In order to get you access to your portal I have reset your password from our end, and I would ask you please follow the steps below.

You will receive a separate email with the subject "your new practitioner portal password." Simply click on the link in the email, and you will be re-directed to the Ahpra Portal Login page.

It will then prompt you to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) first, prior to requesting a change of password. Please see
Setting up MFA for a guide on installing and preparing to use your MFA app.

Once you have followed the password reset link, click on "Set up Multi-Factor Authentication" and follow these steps:
  1. You will be shown the QR code to set up Multi Factor Authentication
  2. Please open your authenticator app, select add code and scan the QR code to the app. Ensure you have scanned from inside the application, not from your camera.
    1. If you are only using a mobile phone to log in, please click the option that you do not have a QR code underneath the QR code on the link you have followed
    2. After this, copy the 30 digit string of characters that appears
    3. In your authenticator app, you will need to press the option to add a setup/security key
    4. You will paste this 30 digit code in the app, and this will allow you to generate a 6 digit verification code, this code lasts for 30 seconds and will then refresh to make another code.
  3. When it is successfully added, a 6-digit verification code will appear, this code lasts for 30 seconds and will then refresh to make another code.
  4.  Enter the unique code from the app, into the designated 'enter code' box on the Ahpra page and press 'connect.' You must ensure you enter the code and press connect before the current code expires.
When using an authenticator app, please ensure the following:
  • Your phones time and date are correctly set and synchronized to ensure accurate code generation
  • Your authenticator app is updated to the latest version
  • You have a stable internet connection
  • Push notifications are enabled within the app
It may also be appropriate to:
  • Restart your device to resolve temporary glitches
  • Clear the cache of the authenticator app in the device settings
  • Remove your Ahpra portal account from the authenticator app and re-add to the account
Once the code has been accepted, you will be required to change your password and will be provided with a list of password parameters. Please note it needs to include at least one upper case, one lower case, one number and a special character, and be at least 10 characters long.

After the password is successfully changed, you will be directed to your online portal screen where you can access your account and proceed with any necessary actions.

If you do not this receive the password reset email, check your junk or spam folder. The password reset email can take up to 10 minutes to come through. If you don’t receive it after 10 minutes, check that your email is the correct username. You may have a different email registered with Ahpra. If this is the case, please let us know what email you would prefer to use so we can change this for you in a subsequent web enquiry.

Additional information, including information on
existing account support can be found on the Ahpra portal help centre

I hope this information helps but if you have any further questions, please contact us quoting your Ahpra enquiry number.

We of the sensible open non-woke Left do like to think that the USA has met its end as a rogue entity, as a powerful empire, and I think it has, in terms of it being unable and unwilling to pay its debts etc. It is in serious irrevocable decline. The USA will never pay its debts. You can be sure of that. Its own nation, and its peoples, are divided, irrevocably. All it does now is hate. This is all it can do in this late stage. Still, they remain, superficially, a very powerful entity and they will not go quietly...at all. Of all the Empires that have faded away, I think the USA will be the most destructive force the world has ever seen, as it fades away. This wont do anyone on earth any good at all, and I think this is going to almost destroy many of us. Empires never, ever, hand over real power by choice, and never behave as good human governments in that decline. Best to stand as clear as best you can. There will be an awful violent mess. As Leonard Chen said "We will not like what happens after America" but we are at the gate of that now, and they have no way back.

Feeling Low

 Feeling.

A bit flat today.
Tired of the general ticker-tape rigmarole of the human years I guess.
To be expected from time to time, especially as you grow up into the great oldness, as us fortunate ones do.
No need for medicines or cheering up.
I see the Americans remain as stupefyingly adolescent as always.
The UK is awful now too.
Far too many weak decisions, choosing poverty for themselves. Not so bright. Gutless. Racist to the core.
Not much hope in either of those.
I'm hoping the World Cup may lift my spirits a tad.
Sad that most of it is in the USA. They are not great planners for something so big. Not great planners for anything. Hasn't even happened yet and yet the Americans are looking for someone to blame.
It's just what they do with the vapid intelligence they have at their disposal.
They will fuck up the World Cup. So will Israel. That's all they can do now. That's their wont.
Still, the World Cup isn't about the USA or Israel at all. That's just the pitch.
I'm sure there will be some good games played. Probably in Mexico and Canada.
The World Game will be played, and hopefully without too much graft, murder, theft, egomania, psychopathy and chicanery.
Still, no need for medicines or cheering up.
The world rolls on, way past even the vague memory of these low cunts.

Wasn't killing Jesus enough?

A lovely night in the Western Suburbs of Victoria, Australia. The two bins are out for the morning collection, the porch light has been turned off. All are at home here. Quiet now. Peace reigns.

Israel is just about the only evil state on earth, and by pure choice. That's the amazing thing. Their Choice. Nothing has changed in that way. Those 'human animals'...and by Choice, rather than any human need. They Disgust me.
Nice night outside. Clear skies. Knowing what we deeply know. On we go.

guess the Australian Spy Organisations, ASIO, ASIS and ASD will be loving having so much work to do to support the USA and Israel just now. They are such disappointing Australians.

I think Australians really do have to question the existence of the Pine Gap US Intelligence Base in Australia..analysing every email, every text, every thing in Asia..... As for the US military Base in Darwin, well, that's also just nuts.

I see that Palestine has lost 2000 lovely people during the Israeli ceasefire there. What is a cease-fire? Please explain. Does it differ from a genocide in any way at all?

When you look at it unemotionally, there is no way that a country of 92 million souls, like Iran, could possibly stop the USA's well-beyond-massive war machine from totally destroying it. Ending it totally. No way. No way in heaven nor on earth. There is no way that Iran could win in that kind of multi-million body human horror bloodbath. But then, ahem, then, the President of the USA is really Mr Donald Trump and his Secretary of War is Mr Pete Hegseth, and their best friend is Mr Bibi Netanyahu...and so you have to look at it a bit more carefully, especially as the USA's President is without a strategy and 'working by his gut'. No doubt, yes, he has a big gut, but...so do I, and I wouldn't ever do what he has done by that same measure of turbulent fat.

Now, let us discuss Pine Gap, where it is, what it is, very very quietly.

Shhh.

Who profits by this Epstein War? Israel. What is the only country we cannot criticise? Israel.

All Praise and Prayers to the ambulance drivers and paramedics of Palestine and Iran, going out every day...into that. You honour all human beings, forever. I'm so sorry, comrades.

A War on Iran

Regarding the War on Iran by the USA and little Israel.

1: I think, still, that the USA will, indeed, destroy that country, that human civilisation, totally, except for the Strait of Hormuz. Iranians will never give up control of that, and no one on earth can force them to ever do that. That can't happen. That's just...reason and geography.
2: I think Israel will extend its land mass to include a good chunk of surrounding nations, and Gaza, extending the genocide a lot, to get half way to their plan for A Holy Greater Israel, through ongoing war and horror.
3: To attempt any of this madness, the plans have been with Israel and the USA for a long time. Now they have showed their hand/s. They have never needed a reason that makes sense to the rest of the world. this is why, to most reasonable human beings, it doesn't make sense now, or ever. It's a religious notion. Perhaps the very final one...before we all can start to make sense of our mortality again.
4: The destruction of Iran, nation, culture and civilisation, will be the biggest and most miserable crime humanity has known for many centuries, but it will happen. Everyone, except Israel, will be in long and tragic mourning, and economic despair, recession and depression, for many decades. This includes Europe, the USA and, indeed, Australia. The harm has already commenced.
5: The Strait of Hormuz will remain in Iranian control for another 50 years. That's just...geography.
A war on Iran...it was always a very bad idea to try it, you know. It will never become a good idea. There is no 'up-side'.

I do remember when Australia was a decent country, with good rule of law, compassion for the oppressed, and generally looking forward to a great and even a kind of independent and free future. It's getting very sad now. Kind of dark. ASIO, ASIS,ASD...they had a chance to act decently. They even sometimes did...but now...you may was well add IDF as a title for government decisions. Disgusting. The President of Israel had a private meeting with Australia's 'secret agents' when he dropped in. They didn't even try to arrest him, although his love for and involvement in and attachment to genocide is so damn clear.

Sad.

Australia, its kind of sad

So, we are so far up the rectums/recta? of Donald Trump and Mr Netanyahu, that we welcome the President of Israel to my country, and seek to make laws to make Israel so very even more special.

I've voted Labor for eons now, but the Greens are beginning to look more intelligent and more humanly respectable.

Its getting near time that Ghislaine Maxwell is moved from the Happy Florida Gaol, for deeply held national security terrorist fears, and disappears, much like in a succinct Witness Protection Program, only to turn up in...Israel, or in Scotland, living a quiet, free, and undisturbed pleasant life. The decision will be by the guy who is replacing Pam Bondi as Attorney General...or perhaps it will be her last critically important decision? It's coming up...time is just about up for the big move.

My View of Australia after 72 years. It's appalling.

 My View:

From my 72 years here, I think many Australians always wished to be British, or Irish, and now they simply wish to be Americans.
I think this is just how we are, here, en masse.
Footloose on the edge of Asia, yet never really belonging to or in Asia.
Never belonging because we never wanted to belong to Asia, that's for sure. Also, because Asia never wanted us here, and that's for sure. They don't like us. We do not do fair trade. We seek to be bullies in the Pacific and Asia at the beck and call of our American owners.
Still, we are here and need to make some sense of the time.
We need to make friends in Asia by doing good trade and having generally meaningful relationships with many countries that America doesn't want us to, at all. Geopolitically, they need us in their pocket, very unaligned with anyone else.
What's wrong with Australia having an Alliance with China, India, Indonesia? That's an empowering group.
Would there be anything wrong with Australia kicking out all the American spies and high tech facilities in Pine Gap that do spy on Asia and include spying on us, our phones, our emails etc? Nothing at all. It is our country.
But what would happen?
The Americans would destroy us. We know that. Or so it seems.
Can we ever get back the land in Darwin we offered as a US Military Base? No, we cannot ever get that land back. That is not ours anymore. We cannot even make a decision on that.
I think that Australia could do well, and much better than at present, by steering a more independent course, making up our minds about things and actioning decisions rather than waiting for the USA to tell us who to be and what to think.
It is not a Call for Socialism, it is a Call for Australia to do something for itself and the short and long term real benefit of its own people rather than being an adaptive slave for its 'owners'.
That's my view.

I can't believe that Australia has invited the President of Israel to visit us. Now. Now...Whilst he is President of a State imposing Genocide on a poor, raped, vilified, 'human animal' abused and half destroyed people, because he wants their land. How does that make sense? How can that make sense? Okay, when he arrives, arrest him for war crimes. That makes sense, but anything else doesn't make any sense at all. It's not just anti-Australian, it's anti-human. Why would anyone do that? Why are we doing this? I'm not a strong person, per se, in anyway at all, but this decision to invite that cxnt here as some favoured guest representing Genocide makes me actually stronger as an individual than this country actually is, as a whole country, and so this ,this is a really really strange time.

Sayanara to the Americanese.

 Sayonara to the Americanese.

Well, we are in 'A Period of Transition' now between the two 'major powers'. The USA has done its dash, already, dead broke and toxic, and are, indeed, fading a bit, as is obvious by the increasing rhetoric of how essential they are to everyone and everything forever, when they just aren't. Too much spending, too much debt, too much waste.
At the same time, China is rising and doing very well, thank you very much, and saying very little. And, for China, this is just the beginning of the rise. Give it a hundred or two hundred years to peak before China is fully risen. That's how it goes.
The odd thing about the American Empire is how short it lasted compared with the other empires of the past. About a hundred years. That's Chicken Skin Music in Time. Chicken Skin Music is fun and innovative, for sure, but it doesn't last very long. 100 years, even 200 years at a long dangling twitchy stretch. In real comparison, the USA, that's one shit empire in comparison with any other in our world's long history.
Europe is doing okay, really. The Middle East isn't important. Anymore. South America is a bit ill prepared, and we wont really know Giant Fully Industrialised and Monetised Africa for some time yet...until well after China...but it will arise, in a few hundred years, and, likely, United.
As for Global Warming, well, obviously, it's going to be a very very hot fucking world. Duh.

Sanders and Corbyn/ such a lost opportunity that it beggars belief.

In terms of two 'medium-ly sort of' moderately developed world 'kind-of' democracies, there were great opportunities for both the UK and the USA in recent times/years.

The USA could have made Bernie Sanders President, and the UK could have made Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minister, but they just... didn't. Bernie was wiped out by the rampant capitalists, and Jeremy by the Jewish lobby.
We know that. And, at best or worse, neither was really a serious Socialists...both were in fact social reformers calling themselves Socialists. Proper, decent folk with great ideas and a love for their countries. They had proposed changes that would be good...that would actually work.
'The People' chose instead what they and the world now have, and that's really, really stupid and awful.
It still makes me sick.
The trouble with actively choosing stupidity is that it always puts you back more years than you think. It's not 4 years, you go back 10 or 20 years. with every election.
Every fucking time.
It's so fucking obvious.
Every fucking time.
Doesn't everyone know that?
By now?
Look!
Surely?
What is so wrong with Human Progress that it makes people so bizarre and sick and dopey all the time when there were real and active choices right there?
That's all gone now.
'Hey, we choose to go backwards! We are not choosing to make things better, we are choosing to fuck everything up!'
Idiots.
Prize idiots.
World Democracies, hey, make better choices, please!
Or is the time up?
I hope not.
Why would one ever want to go and see the UK or the USA?
They are Fucking idiots.
The morons have taken over the liquor store.

Astounding Film

I think the film that had the greatest meaning for me was called "Coming Home" a movie from China, with subtitle sin English, set in the red days of the Cultural Revolution.

The story of a family of wife husband and daughter, and all that happened to them, and how they survived as a family.
Astounding film.

Electric Vehicles in Australia, Melbourne, Victoria.

The concern I have with owning an electric vehicle is that at the next Victorian election, the liberals will win and dump a lot of expensive charges on electric car owners, as their policy is to support oil companies. They will also substantially increase electricity charges because that’s just the kind of knuckle dragging reactionary bastards they are.

That Malaysian Flight ...MH370? you know the one that was accidentally shot down by the US navy and crashed in the South China Sea ... but everyone said it didn't.

So, you had a passenger plane going from Malaysia to Beijing, and over the South China Sea, it disappeared and then, if you believe the story, it turned around for no reason and went thousands of kilometres away to where there was no aerial surveillance etc...an unknown spot in the unknown Southern Ocean.

So, it disappeared from the most surveilled sky on the planet, to disappear to where no one was looking. I doubt it. I think it was shot down by one of the very many US Navy ships, and by accident, in that area of the South China Sea where the US were fully conducting advanced techno  'ping' operations trying to undo China's internet and defences systems right there. An awful error.

Within a few days, the guy in charge of the investigation, the Malaysian President, was given, for no reason, about 8 million US dollars from Saudi Arabia, as a personal gift, and within a week the US President arrived in Malaysia and gave the country a brilliant pro-Malaysian trade and defence program. Unasked for.

I would think, using Occam's razor, that the plane was accidentally shot down and then the USA covered up the mess, retrieved the wreckage from the South China Sea...and apologised to China, but it was best that the occurrence was never reported. It would have destabilised the relationship between the US and China.

It is okay to wage war in the Middle East between Israel and neighbours, because that arena doesn't matter any more. As we can see now...but nothing can disturb the delicate peace that stretches from South to North Asia. Nothing. It is far too important. That's the only 'tectonic plate' in the 21st century.

I've had this blog site for a long time but never did much with it. I think I will add more posts this year.

Melbourne Australia January 2026

 Travail:

It's been horrible lately, driving to work. I live 40km from work, out in the West of Melbourne.
For the least few years there has been great work done on the Westgate Tunnel to alleviate the traffic from the great West, but the day they finished the tunnel, which isn't useful to me but could take some of the traffic density away to Docklands and the central City, the Road Works folk start 10 days of working on the Westgate Bridge itself, making 5 lanes into 2 lanes. It's an annual thing they do.
So, the journey that used to take one hour to cover the 40km of freeways now takes about 3 hours. Grinding delays. Then, when cars escape the jams, they crash into each other. Thus more delays.
So, I'm grateful to have tomorrow off as annual leave, the last day of Bridge upgrades. (But what traffic manipulations are next? Who knows. Something is planned, I'm sure)
For a long time now the only difference between Melbourne traffic and Bangkok traffic, is that Bangkok has more Toyotas and Melbourne has more Teslas, but they equally block up the travel corridors. And Australians don't cope well with the savant sinuousness required to get through Bangkok traffic. When the road is clear, here, everyone just crashes into each other.
Melbourne drivers are much better than, say, Queensland drivers, and everyone observe the road laws here (for fear of really unbelievably massive fines), but, if the sign says 100kph, then that's exactly what people drive at, whether there be rain, ice, accidents, fog, anything...they just keep rushing along.
So, I am relieved to have tomorrow off.
All my life, like my Dad, I've loved driving, but no more.
Last week I was in a 5 car crash, in the middle of it, and the car behind, a ute, took out my rear parking and turn lights. This pushed me into the electric Kia in front, and I must admit my iron bull bar did its job and basically destroyed the Kia. I got a migraine and another hours delay. Damage to my ute was a need to replace 2 parking/turning lights, and you can just buy them anywhere for the Ute I have, and cheap.
The old purely mechanical 2015 Nissan Navara 4WD D22 turbo diesel, remains a remarkably strong and capable vehicle. It goes well, doesn't break down, It's strong and stable and boring. It's just a light truck that does well anywhere, and can cross lots of land without any roads with ease, if necessary. The fuel costs are the same as a comparable small Volvo, so not a lot, and servicing is cheap.
Glad to have a Holiday tomorrow. We even washed the truck for the first time in years just the other day. Goes even better now. I will have to check the water and oil and tyre pressure in it one day. It's been a few years.
