Our sun, Sol, from which comes all light and life in our part of the Galaxy. I quite understand why the Ancient Egyptians had their Sun God. It is realistic. Eventually, in hundreds of millions of years, the sun turns supernova red and swollen and we all return to it, or rather it comes to us. Simple, true. A fine respectable and beautiful faith indeed. A faith in light and life.
