Sayonara to the Americanese.
Well, we are in 'A Period of Transition' now between the two 'major powers'. The USA has done its dash, already, dead broke and toxic, and are, indeed, fading a bit, as is obvious by the increasing rhetoric of how essential they are to everyone and everything forever, when they just aren't. Too much spending, too much debt, too much waste.
At the same time, China is rising and doing very well, thank you very much, and saying very little. And, for China, this is just the beginning of the rise. Give it a hundred or two hundred years to peak before China is fully risen. That's how it goes.
The odd thing about the American Empire is how short it lasted compared with the other empires of the past. About a hundred years. That's Chicken Skin Music in Time. Chicken Skin Music is fun and innovative, for sure, but it doesn't last very long. 100 years, even 200 years at a long dangling twitchy stretch. In real comparison, the USA, that's one shit empire in comparison with any other in our world's long history.
Europe is doing okay, really. The Middle East isn't important. Anymore. South America is a bit ill prepared, and we wont really know Giant Fully Industrialised and Monetised Africa for some time yet...until well after China...but it will arise, in a few hundred years, and, likely, United.
As for Global Warming, well, obviously, it's going to be a very very hot fucking world. Duh.
