An exceptional day in our Bangkok home was the 4th July one year when various Americans turned up in the garden below to celebrate that National Day off theirs, whilst from the Mosque minarets came the call to Prayer through the megaphones whilst Buddhist monks collected food in the streets outside...whilst the Thai animists left food for the tree spirits outside. After the Call to Prayer, the Mosque megaphones played the blues/saxophone songs of the King.
