John Fitzpatrick. About New China, the Koreas, Myanmar, Thailand, and also about Japanese and Chinese writers and poets. The main emphasis is on North Asia and the political tectonics of this very important, powerful, and many-peopled area.

I think I'll do one of them photo spreads for Vogue like Christie Brinkley at 63...John Fitz at 63. As you could see, absolutely no cosmetic surgery. I'd need a double page spread and then be very careful with the staples, to be sure. But in the right lighting and shade, with the right lenses coated with Vaseline, and the camera at the right distance, perhaps on the moon...

Blog Post: Australia, incapable of leading itself in any way, has followed the post GFC model of New York and London and Paris in developing services and jobs only for the people who live within the cities...thus you get this concentration of quasi-elite formation in and around Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, where elsewhere everyone basically suffers simply because there isn't enough money anymore to go around, and because the folk there don't matter to government...thus you get this major differential amongst folk who are supposedly equal in worth...thus you get revolt in the elections..and you get all kinds of fuckwits elected replacing the fuckwits you elected a few years ago...except more extreme. It's a money problem, but no one will say that. Things that were affordable...schools, pensions, superannuation, the environment, health services etc...aren't affordable any longer and so there is a focus only on providing the most services to the most densely populated areas to get the most votes. The result: This is why Brexit happened, and why Trump was elected. In France, the neo Right under Penn etc will roll in and here, well, we have Hanson... and that's the result of bad government, and bad thinking, and blaming everyone else... even grotty old muslims...where in the past we blamed grotty old jews...grotty old asians....world wide...Worse Government. The Western Civilisation has got to a point, through over indulgence, when there is now a Failure to Thrive. This will take decades to work out. Why? Bad planning and Corruption. The Dynamic Duo yet again.
When asked by FITZNEWS@4 reporters, what the hardest thing about farming the Drop Bears is, Mr August Farmer noted "Well, the hardest thing is poking them out of the high gum trees at night, before they drop down and fucking kill you, that's the hardest fucking thing. One took my leg off three weeks ago. After that, it's easy money. As for these bloody eco-freak 'save the drop bear' clowns who hide up there in the trees, well, you don't have to worry about them for very long. The bears take em out, easy as pie...all we ever get down here at ground level is a bit of a wrist bone and some buddhist leather bracelet. We've got a back yard full of em....hey...maybe, hey, we should start exportin' them, eh, ha ha ha."
Drop Bear Farmer Loses Leg in Legal Minefield. Mr August Farmer of the Farmer Farming Co of Atherton & Nunawading noted today that he was in a legal quagmire with State and Federal Authorities in regard to his domestication and 'cropping' of Drop Bears in Northern Australia. He noted that domestication, and Live Export, of the Drop Bear is the best way to prevent extinction. He noted: "The Northern & Savannah Drop Bear is an Iconic Australian Creature, and Product, and we Need to Save It...and Sell It." As is well known, Drop Bear by-products, especially the Bile and Scrotum are used extensively in Portuguese and North American Health Food Supplements, although, in those markets, the substance is best known as 'glucosamine'.
