China is making the trade routes of the South China Sea far less important to themselves. China is quite smart and doesnt turn good into evil on a 3 or 5 year election news cycle.
If Ukraine wants to Avoid a War with Russia, they should pay their Gas Bill. No one in the West will hand out 20 billion euros that Ukraine haven't paid to Russia over the last few decades. The Russians still haven't cut off the Gas, so Ukraine isn't currently freezing to death, which is a nice gesture. Thank you, Russia.
No, Ukraine will not become a member of the EU or NATO. Too much endemic corruption...and they don't pay any of their bills. You try and do that with Ergon or Telstra.
