John Fitzpatrick. About New China, the Koreas, Myanmar, Thailand, and also about Japanese and Chinese writers and poets. The main emphasis is on North Asia and the political tectonics of this very important, powerful, and many-peopled area.

Love and its form of Grief is profoundly powerful. I recall how there wasn't any emotion for a war in Iraq at all before 9/11. The Grief reaction of the Americans was very powerful, even though Iraq had nothing to do with it at all. I feel the same kind of Grief reaction will happen in the Kingdom of Thailand now that King Rama IX is dead. I hope it doesn't lead to a bloody and horrible destabilising time for Thailand and all of SE Asia, but I'm sure it will.
We live in revolutionary times. I have just moved my dark faded green worn out 2008 King Gee work shorts/cargo pants to the back of the wardrobe for emergency fishing purposes, and have put on the Hard Yakka khaki cargo shorts (with the kevlar pockets in case I land roughly on Jupiter) I bought last year. I'm still not sure about the enduring nature of the Hard Yakkas but we will see, by hook or by crook, come hell and high water, come 2022.

News from the Turtle House CEO John Wang Fitzpatrick: The annual income for the Turtle House Group of Companies (EAST & ASIA) is in the region of 70k-700,000,000k (AU$). The readership is between 200 and about a million hits an hour. I want the consortium to diversify into evangelical areas in an association with the Reformed Church of Spongebob Squarepants, thus providing some assistance to others and making us fully tax free as a world entity. We are moving our credentialing base to Dublin to ease excessive tax restrictions in the Marshall Islands. We have put in an ambit bid to buy the mostly unused US military Guantanamo Bay facilities as an extreme adventure holiday enterprise and as a psychological wellness centre for agoraphobic Australians and Hillary Clinton.
from NK News
Dear John
Chad here, from NK News.
I just wanted to express my gratitude again for your previous order on the NK News shop. Last week, we offered five dollars off each item purchased from our NK News digital shop and we sold over 100 t-shirts and calendars!
Due to popular demand, we've decided to extend our priorityorder voucher for another few days so that you can take advantage of your discount code on the items that you want, before they sell out.
Some of our t-shirts, which will never be made again, are dangerously low in stock, and our calendars are beginning to reach the pre-order limit.
Right now the most popular items are the North Korea 2017 Wall Calendar, featuring amazing photos that were taken especially for us over the past 12 months, and our infamous Taedonggang Beer and Pyongyang Marathon t-shirts.
We've also got some very limited stocks of this year’s t-shirt designs including the NADA, Air Koryo, and Ryugyong Hotel.
Head over to the shop to see all the latest products and just use code priorityorder to get an instant five bucks taken off each item that you purchase.
Like before, all profits go directly into expanding our independent coverage of North Korea. As an independent news provider, every purchase that you make directly supports the quality of our services and our ability to continue improving our reporting.
So go grab a limited edition t-shirt and calendar and know you'll be bettering our capacity to cover the country better than ever before!
Thanks very much for your support,
Chad
