2016 really is a remarkable year already, with still some months to go.

1: The Brexit Referendum: all the pundits, leaders, economists, millennial, experts and wise forecasters were sure the UK would vote to stay in Europe...absolutely totally sure, as was the media and every political party...yet the vote of the people was very soundly NO! A solid NO to globalism and understanding. A NO to social cohesion.

2: No one on earth thought Donald Trump would have a chance at even getting close to be the Republican nominee for President of the USA, that was a joke, that was ridiculous. The wisdom and the experts and the number crunchers all said Hilary was the only possible choice...the media reinforced this...and yet..the people have said, so far... NO! A solid NO! to globalism and understanding. He actually remains a Real Contender!

3: Colombia, a nation that has been torn apart by civil war between the Government and the FARC (formerly the Shining Path Marxist Guerrilla Army) for 50 years of horror and torment, reached a peace accord between the Government and the FARC, and the Colombian President won this Year's Nobel Peace Prize for the hard work done towards this essential National Reconciliation. The FARC agreed to pay compensation to the victims and families over the period of the long terrible crippling war...the only remaining war in the whole of the North & South American hemisphere... They put the deal in a referendum regarding the PEACE to the people Colombia in last week's referendum...and an overwhelming majority said NO! Not Peace! A solid NO to peace.

4: The Chinese people, after welcoming in thousands of KFC and McDonalds stores into the mainland over the past 20 years last month said NO! to buying their food, so McDonalds and KFC have to sell off all their stores for very little...no one likes them anymore because of the USA's stuffing around in the South China Sea.... World business folk and economists have said 'But that's just stupid! That's just crazy for both the Chinese and American economies!' Still, the Chinese People have said a resounding NO! A solid NO! to what is economically sensible and global for themselves and others.

5: Syrian War: The USA, the Russians, The Assad Government, the ISIL terrorists and the 'moderate' terrorists have all just said NO! to any kind of peace or break in the war at all. A solid NO! to anyone who even suggests peace.

This is a truly remarkable year.

The Power of People is not a bad thing nor a good thing, it is simply a very powerful thing. This year it is an incredibly labile, tidal and stubborn human entity full of lurking multi-polar variables.

It as if 2016 is the year when most people on Earth are sick to death of being told what is good and bad for them and are just deciding for themselves ...and when people have to keep dealing with advice from Experts and Leaders and Media, they are doing so, in rising numbers, with a certain WTF? attitude...Who the fuck do you think you are? These are our lives, not yours. This is our world, not the world owned by leaders and media and governments and internationalists...Just Shut the fuck up!

We are free human beings and not always so easily manipulated when push comes to shove. We don't have to know what we want, we don't have to know or believe in what is good for us...First we will simply get rid of what we don't want...and see what is left.

This is the first real principle of human free-will under protest. PROTEST MATTERS. Protest changes the world.

Category Five Super Typhoon Chaba made landfall in South Korea yesterday.

I guess that with Hurricane Matthew, it will be the first time in many people's whole lives where they will be disconnected from electricity, phones and the internet for a couple of weeks.

Lots of water in bottles, + fill bathtub to flush toilet and wash etc

lots of canned food,

lots of lamps or candles,

Power, water, , internet, phones, etc can be out for a week or sometimes 2 weeks.

a battery operated radio is good.

spare batteries.

a tank full of petrol.

all important digital info on usb sticks in waterproof bag.

all documents in heavy waterproof boxes.

PS when looking at the circle of the storm, on satellite, the winds are much higher /stronger at the top right quadrant than at the bottom.

Our storms here have the opposite rotation and so the big damage comes from the winds at the bottom left quadrant as they hit particular places.
