My Sweet Reason

The term 'My Sweet Reason' comes from the Nobel Prize winning Australian Author Patrick White, about his Great Love in the World...his partner.
As a man I can understand this, and I can understand it far more than I can understand his best books. No matter what is the work, the meaning, the ambition in life, the Sweet Reason for a man such as I in being alive is in finding this most important person; this most important being.

What do I remember of that day? The fresh coldness of the misty air, the many, many thousands of beautiful French trees, the long, rising walk, the many, many steps, the  hot black boiled corn to chew, the Chungwah cigarette, the profound and serious impressive mausoleum for the First Leader in Modern United China...and being asked to pose for photos with other visitors because I looked like Comrade Lenin, but taller, and was proud to be looking like this...but my wife's hand touching my hand, and the warmth of us together, looking the same way into the future, well, this is my Sweet Reason.

Gillard's Greatest Error #101. Who in their right mind would do this? To us? To our future...to put us 40 years behind the Asian Century...by choice?

Gillard's Greatest Error that will lead to a profound recession in Australia is this:

The deployment of US Marines in Darwin to support the American Plan of 'controlling' China.

China is not a war-nation. It is a Trading nation. Ever since the deployment, the Chinese have bought less and less of our minerals, less and less to the extent that Australia is stuffed economically and will move to a prolonged recession.

China is happy to buy Australian stuff from a friend but not necessarily buy so much from the friend of a USA intent on dominating Asia for its own powerful military reasons.

You just can't fuck with Chinese Capitalism. They know us, they study us, they analyse us all the time. There are more Chinese Analysts studying the Australian Economy than there are Australian Analysts studying the Australian Economy. China INVESTS in UNDERSTANDING EVERYONE, AND THEMSELVES.

Trade is fine, trade is great, but set up a military base in Australia for America to put MILITARY PRESSURE on China when all it wants to do is control it's trade routes, and trade effectively, well, they don't have to buy stuff from us.

China has other friends. Other sources, and plenty of them. China takes this very seriously, and they do not forgive.

The remarkably small and racist mind of the Australian Government has led to Australia now not having enough money for education, for health, for disability, for Government, for anything really.

China is not a warring nation; it is a trading nation based upon very fast, very effective Chinese capitalism.

By Australia supporting the USA and being so 'smart' as to try to 'outsmart' China, Australia is showing that it is willing to hurt China  for the benefit of disappearing up the arse of a militarily aggressive faltering dystopia America.

The extent of this deep insult to our Number One Trading Partner will not be forgotten or forgiven. ..and ALL Australians will suffer because of this stupid, arrogant, mistake, this massive dopey poverty of racist ideation in Judgment...suffer for decades. Business will suffer, the economy will fail.


Good plan, Julia, blow Australia's wealth for 20 years to support military aggression against our most essential sensitive non-aggressive trading partner. Really fucking smart. Thanks for stuffing up the Disabled and the Education system, the Economy, the Superannuation, the Works, the Australian Nation, for 20 more years. What a Visionary is Gillard! What a contemptible, hateful dirty racist little vision it is.

The car was described by His Holiness, the Mahayana Taganatha Buddha, Xi Xinping, as a fine representation of understated Swedish power and elegance. His Holiness actually said "That's a Fucking Nice Car, Mr Wang! That looks like the Fuckin' Diamond Vehicle to me!"

It remains the only sports vehicle fitted with a Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitor in the manifold with a dash switch fly by wire arrangement. 2.4cc, 5 cylinder, super-charged, heavy body, low line, all leather inside with an 8 speaker Bose sound system, a Volvo 'waterfall' dash...Just beautiful.  And indeed it is. Corners like a Great White Shark on amphetamines. Headlights automatically dip with respect in built up areas. A sun-monitor device changes the air-con matrix depending upon the direction of light...the Dash gives me messages regarding emails and the fact that it is overdue for servicing. The glass tailgate is a subtle reminder of the Volvo Simon Templar used to drive as he moved around the world dropping innuendos with one raised eyebrow. the glass tailgate goes back to the Shooting Brake concept of a Hunting Carriage. I often drive around in it with one eyebrow raised, ready for any innuendo-provoking situation.

Leave the doors open for 30 minutes unattended, and it uses little motors to shut the doors, lock up, and send you an annoying email saying 'How could you, you fucking moron?"

I reversed it into a tree awhile back so I don't have pictures of the left rear side. The slight damage is being assimilated and healed by my copious tears and chanting of the Swedish Mahayana Mantra: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Volvo Padme Siddi Huuum.".

John Fitzpatrick, Palliative Care Nursing Expert, Registered Nurse, Post Grad Palliative Care and Gerontology/Gerontics, Member of the Australian Society of Authors, has 30 years rich experience in Clinical Palliative Care in roles as Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant; Senior Project Officer for, and writer of, North Queensland’s Strategic Plan for Palliative Care and “Northern Streams - Towards Palliative Care Clinical Best Practice”.

 

He has further certifications in Grief Support, Debriefing, and Addiction Counselling. John is an acknowledged communicator and published Author in three fields. Texts regarding Palliative Care include ‘Northern Streams’, ‘The Wake- Personal Reflections of Palliative Care’ & ‘Hospice Bridge- A Life in Palliative Care’.
