As time went by many football type games were played in that sacred backyard space, limited only by the paling fences, and the drain over the back fence. It was a river, really, a holy swampy river...and once a ball went over the back fence and in there, well, it was a murky slimy business indeed to retrieve it.

I've tried to have that backyard declared a sacred site for all time, for all Wang-Fitzpatricks...but the fascist state won't do that...so someone else owns my home and homelands now...some white person...grumble, grumble, grumble.
